FAQ

🎺 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What makes the ChangeMaker carbon wind instruments special?

Our instruments are made from innovative carbon components – for reduced weight, improved response, and exceptional sound control. Ideal for professionals with the highest demands.

Are the ChangeMaker carbon trumpets and trombones suitable for beginners?

The instruments are aimed at professionals and advanced players. However, ambitious beginners will also benefit from their ease of playability and high-quality sound.

What is special about the carbon bell or carbon slide?

Carbon minimizes disruptive vibrations, making the tone more focused. At the same time, it reduces weight—a huge advantage for extended playing sessions or on tour. Our carbon components are extremely strong and last forever. They won't break or dent. Because they don't cool the air inside the instrument, intonation is independent of the outside temperature, and condensation is less likely to occur.

What does the NFC tag on the instrument mean?

The NFC tag is a digital certificate of authenticity. It gives you access to exclusive services and, in the future, to a closed community of musicians.

Where are the instruments manufactured?

The engineering comes from the Swiss company daCarbo, known for the highest precision and quality in instrument construction. The carbon components are manufactured in Austria, where final assembly also takes place – a true 'Made in Austria' product.
