carbon fiber

Carbon fibers consist almost entirely of elemental carbon and, despite their low density, are stiffer than steel. These fibers, which are thinner than a human hair, are fixed in a polymer matrix to make the most of their properties. We use this technology not primarily to reduce weight, but to optimize the vibration properties of musical instruments. By specifically aligning the fibers and using innovative composite constructions, energy loss is minimized and sound quality is maximized. The result is easy-to-play instruments with precise articulation and direct control that allow musicians to concentrate fully on their performance.

Handcraft meets high-tech

We have developed an innovative injection technology to produce complex tube shapes from carbon materials. This technology enables the production of components for wind instruments with perfect surface quality, both inside and out. The process guarantees a permanently precise finish that goes beyond conventional instrument-making techniques. Despite the most modern technology, each instrument is manufactured by our instrument makers with the utmost care and attention to detail using precise handcraft.
